Through the following steps:

2. Cooperating with an authorized agent: To carry out the trade name reservation procedures on your behalf, an authorized agent can provide legal advice and help you prepare and submit the necessary documents to the Ministry of Commerce office at the General Authority for Investment.

• The trade name must not be non-Arabic or have no meaning.

• The trade name must not be a family name except in the case that the name is existing and in the same activity for the client and has been previously registered for them.

• The name must not contain a title (Lawyer – Mr. – Mrs. – Prince – Princess – Sheikh – Father – Brother)

• Gulf, Arabic, international, and global words are acceptable attributes with the trade name.

• Adding activities to the trade name is not allowed, such as (for contracting - for trade - for maintenance - for real estate)

• All names that contain a religious character are prohibited. *Attached are names prohibited from registration.

• The trade name must not contain the name of a non-Arab country or city.

• You cannot reserve a trade name that contains the word "Group" except after reviewing the Ministry to fulfill the conditions.

• To register the professional name (office), it is preferred to visit the advisory professions page (professional name reservation is available for companies only).

• The maximum number of reserved and accepted names for a client is only three names.
